In accordance with the Queensland Health Public Health and Social Measures Directive only fully vaccinated members of the public will be permitted at Annerley Dental from 4th January 2022. As a healthcare provider, Annerley Dental has a duty of care to protect both the public and our staff, particularly those at high risk of more serious illness, or who are unable to be vaccinated themselves due to medical reasons.

What are the new requirements for visiting us?

All persons over the age of 16 will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon arrival at Annerley Dental as of 7am Tuesday 4th January. The easiest way to do this is to link your vaccination certificate or medical exemption to the Check In QLD app. If you do not have a smart phone, you will need to bring a hard copy of your vaccination certificate. You will still be required to check in upon arrival each time you attend the clinic and staff will ask to see this before checking you in.

What if I am unable to get vaccinated due to medical reasons?

Please advise clinical staff of your exception status prior to your appointment. Patients with a medical exemption may still be permitted to attend the clinic. Each exception will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. You will be required to provide a copy of your exception documentation from your healthcare provider prior to any appointments so as we can complete a risk assessment.

What if I am unvaccinated?

“No unvaccinated persons will be able to attend Annerley Dental”.
Annerley Dental is a private medical facility and does not have the capacity to safely accommodate unvaccinated patients. If you are unvaccinated and require medical care, please contact your GP to arrange a referral to your closest public hospital facility. Queensland Health hospitals have the systems in place to provide medical care for all patients and have advised that they will accept unvaccinated patients should medical attention be required. All Annerley Dental staff are fully vaccinated and will be required to wear a mask when they are unable to maintain 1.5m of social distance.
