Which health funds does Annerley Dental accept?
Does Annerley Dental provide services under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)?
Yes we do. CDBS covers basic dental services across a period of two calendar years, helping make dental care more accessible and affordable to eligible children aged 2 to 17. This means no out of pocket expenses for eligible families.
If you receive a Government Benefit such as Family Tax Benefit Part A or other eligible payments from the government your child may qualify for the CDBS. You can check if your child is eligible for CDBS by calling Medicare on 132011.
What is NO GAP?
If you have health insurance, your health fund will pay for a proportion of your dental treatment. Annerley Dental will waive the difference and you don’t have to pay the difference.
Should we wait to see the dentist until my child has all of his/her permanent teeth?
No. Waiting until all the permanent teeth have come in, or until facial growth is nearly complete, could make correction of some orthodontic problems more difficult. Some things cannot be accomplished once the face and jaw are no longer growing.
