Health Funds
Annerley Dental is a preferred provider for Bupa, HCF and NIB. However, we also accept and welcome all major private dental health insurance.
HICAPS is provided allowing our patients to instantly claim the health fund rebate on the spot leaving the difference to be settled at the day of the appointment.

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)-Bulk Billing
At Annerley Dental we we’re passionate about beginning preventative dental care at an early age. That’s why we bulk bill and accept the Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme, with no out-of-pocket expenses for eligible children aged 2 to 17 years.
This funding from Medicare provides basic dental services to children including examinations, X-rays, cleaning, fissure Sealing and fillings. Dental services are capped at $1,000 over two consecutive calendar years. CDBS does not cover orthodontics and cosmetic dental services.
For more information on eligibility and the scheme, visit the CDBS website or call 132 011.
Veterans’ Affairs Patients
Annerley Dental welcomes and accepts both DVA Gold and White cards.
In most cases, you will not have to pay for any dental services provided under DVA arrangements as Dr Basil will bill DVA directly. Dental services involve the prevention and treatment of oral disease and include general dental services, the filling and crowning of teeth and the construction of dentures.
An Annual Monetary Limit (AML) does apply to certain high-cost items, including some bridges and crowns. This means DVA contributes a set amount per calendar year towards the cost of these items. Any out-of-pocket costs for this high-end treatment will be fully discussed with the veteran prior to commencement of treatment.

Superannuation
Annerley Dental can also help you with your dental work via way of the early release of your superannuation. Conditions however do apply.
Department of Health dental vouchers
The Department of Health also has vouchers for emergency dental ($260) and/or general dental ($750). These apply to pensioners, healthcare card holders and low income earners. Once again, conditions apply.
